I was doing a bit of doubling up on the easter break. Which was having a relaxing holiday, and starting a tough training schedule at the same time. I ran four days in the week, two 5ks, and a couple of 8-10ks – one being this run into Glen Finglas (that’s the Mell loop in the background – one for another day!).
I had run this same route two years ago and had managed the steep rise from Little Drum car park without a stop.
This time the hill had me beat and there were plenty of stops. I’ve definitely lost the hill running mojo. Need to get back to running club!
